We’re on Cloud Nine with our Brand New Printer

12th October 2015

Our UV Printer brings the total count to nine and means the best banner service just got even better!

Christmas just came early at HFE Banners! We’ve got our hands on a state-of-the-art UV flatbed printer and this is going to take us to the next level (whatever that business speak means)!

You might have thought that eight banner printers would be enough, although increasing demand from you guys means that we’ve had to hunt down a printer that can produce the magic when it comes to high-quality prints on rigid and flexible media.

Our UV flatbed printer is especially good for rigid and pavement signs, with this new signing making our squad of printers unbeatable and it also means we have back-ups in all department should anything go wrong in the technical department.

When using our new flatbed printer, the team will put your banner on the flat bed of the printer (thus the name). Mechanical locks will then secure the banner as it then slides through the printer, applying the required marketing message, design or logo.

In terms of ink, the printer primarily uses cyan, magenta, yellow and black to great effect, with the UV-cured inks having an extra dimension which means that when the ink dries on the surface, it rises above to make the design look as though it has been hand-painted.

In total, we now have:

Two flatbed UV rigid printers

Two print and cut vinyl printers

Two banner printers that are eight feet wide

Three banner printers that are six feet wide

Two more and we’ll have enough for a printing football team (perhaps that is one for 2016). We can confirm that the new flatbed printer has bedded in well at HFE and is getting on famously with his partner in crime.

As you can see from the website, we make delivery promises and we’re not a company that likes to break them. Therefore, we can now increase production and also have a back-up should one of our flatbed printers need some tender loving care.

It’s a busy time of year at HFE as we approach the final quarter of 2015, which includes Halloween, Bonfire Night, Christmas and New Year’s Eve.

The weather inevitably gets colder and our wonderful printers help produce banners that are robust when it comes to any meteorological conditions such as wind, frost, snow, hail or sunshine!

Our new flatbed UV rigid printer will be responsible for those orders including pavement signs and A-boards. You only have to walk down a high street to see a Pavement Swing Sign and now you know who is behind these wonderful advertising products.

Similarly, we have an area of the website devoted to rigid signs and advertising boards which use materials such as Foamex, Correx and Dibond to produce unbreakable display items that will stand the test of time.
